I had an very nice stay at Homy Seafront! The location was perfect, within walking distance to seafood restaurants and the vibrant Gaya Street. The shared area offered an amazing sea view, a great way to start each morning. The hostel was clean and the breakfast, although simple, was delicious. The lockers were spacious and provided peace of mind for storing my belongings. I highly recommend this hostel for its cute atmosphere and fantastic location.

The hostel provided a variety of breakfast options, including cereals, toast with different jams, free milk, and hot and cold water for beverages. The common areas had a great atmosphere, with comfortable seating and a TV for watching Netflix or YouTube videos. The view from the common area overlooking the harbor was stunning.
There were only curtains to close the rooms, which resulted in noise disturbances when other guests came back late. The air conditioning was often set too cold, which caused me to catch a cold after a few days.

The location is fantastic, with stunning views and a great atmosphere. the staff were friendly and helpful, especially one particular male staff member from the private room building. the dorm sharing option was my favorite, as it was clean and the staff were even friendlier. the beds, rooms, toilets, and common areas were all spotless. Waking up to beautiful ocean views and enjoying breakfast is an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Homy Seafront for its perfect location and amazing staff. Cons: All was good! 👌.

Great location with beautiful views. Close proximity to supermarkets, restaurants, and Jesselton Point.- Helpful and friendly staff.
Limited coffee options, no black coffee available. Common area and reception area too small, causing inconvenience.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the night shift guy who helped us organize our trips. the hostel allowed us to store our bags and use the facilities even after checking out, which was really convenient. the self-service breakfast had a good selection and we enjoyed the comfortable shared space overlooking the sea. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the service provided was excellent.
The street outside could get noisy at night with motorbike racing and flights passing through. If you're a light sleeper, this might be an issue for you.

The clean and comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, and the toilets were conveniently separated for male and female guests. The hygiene standards were excellent, and the seafront view was absolutely breathtaking. The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for its perfect location, amazing staff, and great sea view.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the room. the water pressure was great and the Netflix provided was a nice touch. the location was also a major plus, with easy access to shops, malls, and restaurants.
That there was often a shortage of toilet paper in the restrooms, requiring us to ask the staff for more every time. the hostel's proximity to nightclubs and pubs meant loud bass music could be heard, even with earplugs, which affected the quality of sleep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hostel in Kota Kinabalu and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! the location right on the seafront is truly majestic, and the views from the hostel are absolutely breathtaking. But what really made my stay memorable was the staff. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. the staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They were always available to answer questions, provide recommendations, and help with anything I needed. The hostel itself was super clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Cons: It was all superb! 😊.
